Sheriff sale auctions relating to Judgment levies on real estate and personal property, in addition to foreclosures on real estate, are conducted by the Civil Division ( evictions ) and other various levies. The record keeping and billing for false alarm ordinance violations are also conducted through this office.
The division's work load does not permit short date papers; therefore, ten ( 10 ) working days are required to make a proper effort to serve, process and return papers filed with our office for service.

Service fee amounts are determined by county ordinance, collected by the Civil Division and are turned over to the county treasury. Process will be accepted and service will be attempted only upon receipt of fees in advance. On all Orders of Possession, a deposit fee of $196.00 is required at the time of filing the papers with our office for service. This deposit is placed in a trust account and applied to the costs of executing the eviction. For specific fee information, please visit our Fee Information Page.
