The Administration Division is comprised of the Sheriff, Undersheriff, Court Services / Special Projects Bureau and the Support Services Bureau.
The Court Services / Special Projects Bureau oversees Civil Process and Court Services. The Will County Sheriff’s Office Civil Division serves over 22,000 items of process annually. These items include subpoenas from the Will County State’s Attorney, summons for law suits, quasi criminal summons from villages and counties throughout the United States. This bureau also handles security for the Courthouse, Court Annex Building, River Valley Juvenile Justice Center and the outer court branches.
The Support Services Bureau encompasses much of the behind the scenes operations that keep the Sheriff’s Office running. The Support Services Bureau provides staff support to the entire Sheriff’s Office concerning budgeting / payroll. They also provide long range planning, resource procurement and allocation, training, facility and vehicle maintenance, and management information systems/technical support.
