The Sheriff's Office will not accept an online report if:

  • The total amount of property items is over $500
  • You have any information about a possible suspect/offender or person you think is guilty of the crime.
  • You have physical evidence such as fingerprints, blood, etc. or a license plate number
  • Someone entered your home, garage, vehicle.
  • The incident occurred outside of the unincorporated/jurisdiction areas of Will County
