  • The Will County Sheriff's Office is announcing the results from the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over holiday crackdown on drunk drivers.  During the holiday season, reducing the deadly dangers from drunk drivers was a top priority as Will County Sheriff's deputies were out in force to arrest those who put themselves and others on the road at risk.

    From December 19th thru January 4, 2015, the Will County Sheriff's Office made five DUI arrests and wrote ten seat belt

  • The Will County Sheriff's Office announced today that Investigator Jeffrey Tolbert and Sgt. James Holuj will represent the Sheriff's Office at the funeral services of New York's fallen officer Wenjian Liu.  Liu was slain on December 20th while sitting in his squad car with fellow officer Rafael Ramos.   Tolbert and Holuj are both 14 year veterans of the Sheriff's Office and members of the Sheriff's Honor Guard.  The deputies will be attending courtesy of JetBlue

  • Will County Sheriff Mike Kelley announced today that he has completed the promotions of command staff that will assist him during his term as Sheriff.  The following promotions took place since Sheriff Kelley was sworn in on December 1, 2014.

  • From December 19 through January 4th of the New Year, the Will County Sheriff's Office will be out in force as part of the annual Illinois "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" crackdown on drunk drivers.  The statewide crackdown will include high-visility alcohol and seat belt enforcement throughout Will County.

    The statewide crackdown will also be supported by national and state paid advertising, creating a comprehensive campaign to curb drunk driving during the holiday

Attorney Security Pass

Attorney Security Passes must be obtained in-person by the Attorney between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., on the first Tuesday of each month, or by appointment by calling the Will County Sheriff's Office Internal Affairs/Merit Commission Office at 815-723-1648.

The cost of the Attorney Security Pass is $35.00 (cash or check only, payable to the Will County Sheriff's Office, if paying by cash, no bills larger than $20 will be accepted - exact change is appreciated). The passes will valid for one year from the month of issue.

The cost to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged card is $5.00
