  • WILL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING AT PARTY

    On 3/20/15, around midnight, Sheriff's deputies received a call regarding a shooting with possible victims in the area of Gardner and Nowell.  Joliet Police were on the scene and had pulled over a vehicle on the 900 block of Gardner with six subjects inside.  Two subjects advised that they had been at a party and had been shot.  Joliet Fire personnel arrived and transported them to Presence St. Joseph Hospital.  Both gunshot victims were male residents of Joliet.

    The Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body that was found in the area of Zurich and Brandon Roads, unincorporated Joliet Township.  On Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at approximately 6:00pm a citizen called in reference to the discovery of a deceased subject in the field off Zurich Road, near Brandon Road.  The identity of the person is unknown; however, it appears to be the body of a female black.  The Will County Coroner's Office will be performing an autopsy

    The Will County Sheriff's Office is announcing that they will be conducting special patrols this St. Patrick's Day to crack down on drunk drivers and unbuckled motorists.

Attorney Security Pass

Attorney Security Passes must be obtained in-person by the Attorney between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., on the first Tuesday of each month, or by appointment by calling the Will County Sheriff's Office Internal Affairs/Merit Commission Office at 815-723-1648.

The cost of the Attorney Security Pass is $35.00 (cash or check only, payable to the Will County Sheriff's Office, if paying by cash, no bills larger than $20 will be accepted - exact change is appreciated). The passes will valid for one year from the month of issue.

The cost to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged card is $5.00
