 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Interview inmates and gather information for housing and security classification.
  • Review criminal, social, behavioral, and classification records and documentation.
  • Conduct needs assessments and risk evaluations; monitor behavior or circumstances.
  • Perform classification reviews, reclassifications, administrative hearings, and discipline hearings.
  • Communicate housing, movement, safety concerns, and classification decisions to staff.
  • Maintain electronic records, files, data entry, and Excel spreadsheets for classification-related matters.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. U.S. Citizen
  2. Must be 21 years of age (No age cap)
  3. Valid Driver’s License
  4. Bachelor’s degree or 120 semester hours in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Public Administration, or another related field.
  5. Must not have any felony or certain misdemeanor convictions from any jurisdiction
  6. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  7. LEADS Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
  8. Completion of In-Depth Background Investigation
