Welcome to the online reporting system for the Will County Sheriff's Office. 

 

The Sheriff's Office will not accept an online report if:

  • The total amount of property items is over $300
  • You have any information about a possible suspect (person you think is guilty of the crime)
  • You have physical evidence such as fingerprints, blood, etc. or a license plate number
  • Someone entered your home, garage, vehicle.
  • The incident occurred outside of the unincorporated areas of Will County

Filing a false police report is a crime.

 

"Transmits or causes to be transmitted information knowing to be false to any police agency is in violation of Illinois criminal statues 720 ILCS 5/26-1." I understand and acknowledge that it is a violation of 720 ILCS 5/26-1 to willfully make a false report.

In the event the report is proven to be false, the information may be provided to the State's Attorney for possible prosecution.
